About 3 Days Kilimanjaro Climb & Tanzania Safari from Arusha

DAY O - Arrival - Kilimanjaro
After arrival in Tanzanian from Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport, where you will meet a KITANO TOURS AND SAFARIS guide representative who will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel at Moshi. (For budget hotels at KILIMANJARO WHITE HOUSE HOTEL) The hotel will provide all the essentials service for a comfortable stay, Settle into your accommodation, relax and get used to the African atmosphere. Ready to start your tour on the next day.

Day 1: Arusha - Kilimanjaro Day Hike (Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut – Maundi
Your adventure begins early with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and a drive to Marangu Gate (1,860m/6,102 ft), the starting point of your Kilimanjaro day hike. After registration, you’ll embark on a scenic trek through Kilimanjaro’s lush rainforest, keeping an eye out for blue monkeys and colobus monkeys.
After about 3 to 4 hours, you’ll reach Mandara Hut (2,715m/8,907 ft), where you’ll stop for a rest and lunch. A short walk from Mandara takes you to Maundi Crater, offering stunning views of northern Tanzania and southern Kenya on clear days.
After enjoying the scenery, you’ll hike back down to Marangu Gate and return to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up in the morning and after a short briefing, you will head off in the direction of Tarangire National Park. The park, with its savannah, baobab trees, and seasonal swamps, is home to huge elephant herds. Animals gather at the life-giving Tarangire River and you should see a selection of mammals, giraffe, zebra and range of predators such as lions, Leopards, and cheetahs. In the late afternoon, you will leave and head lodge or campsite where you will spend the night

Day 3: NGORONGORO CRATER - ARUSHA
We will have an early start to the day to ensure that we complete the itinerary for the day which includes a magnificent game drive with a picnic lunch in the crater. Animals infrequently migrate in and out of the crater due to its elevated walls. This means you are capable of spotting every member of the big five in one day. The big five comprises of buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards. Some of the other wildlife that you can expect to see includes zebras, hippo, wildebeest and hyenas. The craters also feature an extensive bird population including geese, storks and vultures. After a picnic lunch you will have a game drive thereafter in the late afternoon you will drive back to Arusha Town.
