You'll be picked up at the hotel at 6:00 am and drive along the Mombasa Diani highway towards Kwale town to Shimba Hills National Reserve. On arrival at the park, you'll begin your game drive in search of animals such as elephants, sables, antelopes, impalas, and baboons. Shimba Hills is mostly covered by forest, so it is more of a scenic safari than a wildlife safari. Spotting the hidden wildlife is a plus. At about 11:00 am, you'll stop at the point where you'll join a ranger for a bush walk to the Shedrick Waterfalls. You can also take a dip under the falls, so an extra change of clothes will be required. You'll proceed to lunch and take a few minutes' rest at Shimba Hills Green Safari Lodge. After lunch, you'll enjoy the views and the swimming pool and proceed back to Mombasa. You'll be dropped off at the hotel or airport.
