>> Mkomazi National Park stands out from all other national parks as it has a black rhinoceros sanctuary and also a captive-breeding program for the African wild dog. Seeing these two unique endangered species is a once-in-a-million adventure together with other species such as giraffe, eland, hartebeest, zebra, buffalo, elephant and the long-necked gerenuk.

Bird spotting is excellent with more than 450 avian species recorded including endemics such as the cobalt-chested vulturine guinea-fowl and other large ground birds such as ostrich, kori bustard, secretary bird and ground hornbill.
You will have a full day game drive in this magnificent park and later in the evening you drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

>> Materuni waterfalls is one of the biggest and most popular waterfalls in Kilimanjaro Region. The waterfalls situated on the slope of Mount Kilimanjaro, to the authentic Chagga tribe. The source of water comes directly from the glacier on top of Kilimanjaro.
About 30min driving from Moshi town and 1 ½ hour from Arusha, walking through coffee and banana farm surrounded by lush landscape its where this waterfalls found.

A 30 min walk through stunning green landscape of chagga land will bring us to this hug waterfall, here we will go swimming in the refreshing water and have break for lunch at this beautiful waterfall. With a very nice weather you will be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro very close. Are you a coffee lover? No trip to Tanzania would be complete without the cultural experience of a coffee tour. Learn about growing, cultivation, harvesting, blending, roasting process, and influential history of coffee—then try sample a cup of your favourite blend.

>> Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants.

In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before heading to the lodge (around 5pm to 6pm is the return time).

>> After breakfast at daybreak, you will start early on your outward journey down into the crater on an adventurous trail. As predators are livelier in the cooler hours of the day, you might even see them in action. Lunch will be taken en-route at a designated picnic spot.

On reaching the crater’s edge, the 19 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide variety of birds, hyenas and the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Exiting the crater on a different ascent road, you will drive to Arusha, where you will spend the night at the the lodge.

>> Lake Manyara National Park is dominated by the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of water birds. Particularly impressive are the pink-coloured flamingos, but also many other bird species such as cormorants, pelicans or storks can be observed here. A total of about 400 different bird species live in the park.

The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are usually found in the central and open parts of the park. During the safari, you will also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos and many other animal species. In the late afternoon, you head to Arusha or Moshi for drop off.
