Day 01: Nairobi - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

>> Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be met and warmly welcomed by a staff member. You will be introduced to your driver guide and given a briefing on your tour. Your safari will then commence with a transfer from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You will arrive at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp in time for a hearty lunch.

After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive in Ol Pejeta during which you will visit Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Rhinos are a big part of the experience when you visit Ol Pejeta. Apart from protecting some of Kenya's largest populations of black and white rhinos, Ol Pejeta shelters the world's last 2 Northern white rhinos. There's also a sanctuary for rescued chimps. The free-roaming wildlife includes the Big Five. Commonly seen mammals include lion, cheetah, hyena, elephant, giraffe, buffalo and zebra. More than 500 different bird species have been seen in the conservancy and the savannah and mountain views are lovely.
