>> After breakfast; leave for a full day game drive carrying packed picnic lunch: The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion and is one of the few places where you have the chance to see the “Big 5” during an early morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under safari vehicles and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these include 16 species of eagle, plus many hawk and falcon, 6 species of vulture, 8 species of stork, 4 of bustard, and 9 species of sunbird.

>> After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have a short stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point, and then thereafter, proceed to Lake Nakuru. Arrive in good time for lunch and rest. After lunch, head for an afternoon game drive; at this lovely reserve is pleasing to the eye with its forests and acacia trees. Some flamingos dot the lake-shore as well as kingfishers, ostriches, and raptors like herons and eagles. We will also spot rhinos in the protected sanctuary here and be on the lookout for the rare Rothschild’s giraffe nibbling at the branches above. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

>> After breakfast, leave Lake Nakuru National Park with short game drive en-route as you head to Lake Naivasha. Arrive Lake Naivasha in time for lunch and afternoon rest. In the Afternoon; an optional boat ride safari and a visit to the crescent island can be arranged at an extra cost. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree whereby these forests abound with birdlife, and Naivasha is known as a world-class birding. The waters of the lake draw a great range of games to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo population sleeps the day out in the shallows.
