9-Day Unforgettable Adventure - Uganda

>> The tour activities include; The journey starts at 7:30 a.m from the pick up in Kigali, Enjoy the winding road of the country of 1000 hills. We shall then to Musanze to Ellen degeneres Dian Fossey campus to tour the museum of the remarkable work of Gorilla conservation by Dian Fossey. We then head to Migano cafe for a snack then head to Chanika boarder where you will be supported with documentation at the immigration offices of both Rwanda and Uganda.

You will then check in and have dinner later in the evening. Our guide will then come and brief you of the next days activities.

•  Accommodation: Ichumbi Hotel - Kisoro

>> This is a day's activity. Breakfast is served by 6:30 a.m then head to Mgahinga National Park. We advise one carries packed lunch in form of a snack and enough litres of water like 1.5 litres. We then head to the National Park gate for registration and briefing. After registration and briefing one will be assigned a group for trekking with a guide and rangers. Then trekking starts for the gorillas this takes 1 - 4 hours depending to the location of the gorillas. You are then given an hour to view the gorillas and then asked to return to the briefing point where you will be awarded a trekking certificate from Uganda Wildlife Authority.
You will return to lodge and enjoy a self-care retreat at the hotels swimming pool, health club and steam or sauna all inclusive to your stay at the hotel.

•  Accommodation: Ichumbi Hotel - Kisoro

>> The Batwa part of the indigenous tribes found in Kisoro in Uganda. The experience involves learning about their livelihood back when there were in the Mgahinga National Park. As part of the the conservation efforts of the park these were evicted from the National park and integrated into the communities. The fees collected help to support them. We then return to the Hotel.

In the afternoon we take part in a local experience right for the garden, to post harvest handling thereafter to the value addition. Here you will then taste the coffee brewed.

•  Accommodation: Ichumbi Hotel - Kisoro

>> Breakfast will be served by 7:30 am then we set off at 8:00 am for Lake Bunyonyi. We then check in the hotel and after lunch for a boat tour on Lake Bunyonyi there we shall visit the famous punishment Island and see also a wide range of birds too on the highland. We then return to the hotel. You will be free to swim in the lake which is Bilharzia free.

•  Accommodation: Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort

>> Break fast will be served at 6:30 am and we start the journey at 7:00 am. We travel to Irungu Forest lodge in Queen Elizabeth. We will have lunch and then later in the evening we do have a game drive in the national park where you will have an experience of the wildlife in the national park. We then return to the lodge.

•  Accommodation: Irungu Forest Safari Lodge

>> Break fast will be served at 6:30 am and then we set off at 7:00 am to Kyambura gorge for the Chimp trek. We are then briefed and then trek the Chimps for like 2-3 hours. We then head back to the hotel for Lunch.
We then head for a Boat cruise at 2:00 pm on Kazinga Channel.

•  Accommodation: Irungu Forest Safari Lodge

>> Breakfast will be served at 6:30 a.m and set of time is 7:00 a.m. We then travel to Murchison falls National park via. Kyenjojo District. When then check in at the hotel and have lunch. In the evening we head to the top of the falls of Murchison Falls. Then return to the lodge.

•  Accommodation: Sambiya River Lodge

>> Breakfast served at 7:30 am. We then head off at 8:00 am for a morning game drive in the national park for 2-3 hours. We then return to the hotel to rest and have lunch. At 2:00 pm we head for a Boat cruise on the nile for 2 hours and then return to hotel.

•  Accommodation: Sambiya River Lodge

>> This is a travel day back to Kampala but however we shall have a tour of the Rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This tour will take 1-2hours. There after we travel to Kampala or Entebbe.
