A 2 days Kilimanjaro hike via marangu route is an easy and short route to hike and it is perfect for those who want to experience hiking without going to the top mount Kilimanjaro. DAY O - Arrival - Kilimanjaro

After arrival in Tanzanian from Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport, where you will meet a KITANO TOURS AND SAFARIS guide representative who will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel at Moshi. DAY 1: MARANGU GATE (1,830 M/6,000 FT)- MANDARA HUT (2,740 M/9,000 FT) ASCENT

Early in the morning, after breakfast you will be picked up by a driver and drive you to Marangu gate on the eastern side of Kilimanjaro, after arrival at park gate a guide will do necessary registration, after finish you will start to ascent to mandara where you will hike through the forest, here you will be surrendered by eucalyptus trees, species of bird, colbus monkey, blue monkey, and many interesting thing to view by the hiker, you will stop halfway for lunch and continue hiking to mandara. After a short tour at mandara you will spend a night at mandara hut.

OVERNIGHT STAY: MANDARA HUT

DAYS 2: MANDARA HUT - HOROMBO HUT - MARANGU GATE

The day begins with an early breakfast. Shortly after you have left Mandara Hut, you will reach the timberline and then enter the heath and moor zone. Approximately 4 hours to reach at Horombo Hut will come into sight, standing at an altitude of 3700m. From the hut, you will have fantastic views overlooking Mawenzi, Kibo you will a moment to take some picture, there after you will descend down to mandara hut for lunch and then you will continue descend back to marangu gate, you will pick up by our driver back to Moshi/Arusha.
