This 8-day Kenya safari takes you on an unforgettable journey through some of Kenya's most famous national parks and reserves, each offering unique wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes. Beginning and ending in Nairobi, the adventure includes visits to Amboseli National Park, known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro; Aberdare National Park, a lush, serene environment home to rare species and abundant wildlife; Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos and rhino sanctuary; and the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, where the Great Migration (July to October) and the Big Five await. DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring the city or visit local attractions such as the Giraffe Centre or David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
DAY 2: NAIROBI - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive where you can spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. The park is also famous for its vast wetlands and stunning landscapes. After enjoy game drive you will drive back to the lodge / camp for overnight
DAY 3: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Spend a full day exploring Amboseli, with morning and afternoon game drives. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including cheetahs, hyenas, and buffaloes. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Amboseli wetlands, where many animals come to drink and bathe. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. There after you will continues full game drive to explore wildlife and other species, in the late of afternoon you will heading back to your lodge/ camp for overnight.
DAY 4: ABMBOSELI TO ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, depart from Amboseli National Park and embark on a scenic drive to Aberdare National Park. The journey takes you through diverse landscapes, from Amboseli's flat plains to the lush, forested slopes of the Aberdare Mountain Range, offering views of picturesque villages and the Kenyan countryside. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the cool climate and stunning scenery of tropical rainforests, waterfalls, and volcanic landscapes. The park is home to abundant wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, leopards, and the rare bongo antelope, as well as a variety of bird species. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive, where you may encounter these animals in their natural habitat amid the park's dense forests and dramatic landscapes. Later, head to your lodge for check-in, where you'll spend the evening relaxing.
DAY 5: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart from Aberdare National Park and head towards Lake Nakuru National Park, descending through Kenya's scenic highland terrain to the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The journey offers beautiful views of lush farmlands and the valley's escarpment. Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru, you'll be welcomed by its stunning landscapes, featuring the soda lake surrounded by forests and grasslands. The park is famous for its vast flocks of flamingos, as well as other bird species like pelicans, herons, and storks. Lake Nakuru is also a sanctuary for both white and black rhinos, providing excellent opportunities for sightings of these endangered animals, where you can spot a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, and zebras and You may also encounter predators like lions and leopards. After an exciting day of exploration, head to your lodge for a dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, depart from Lake Nakuru National Park and begin your journey towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive through the vast savannahs of Masai Mara, home to the Big Five and other wildlife like cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests. If visiting during the Great Migration, you may witness dramatic river crossings. After a thrilling game drive, head to your lodge for the evening, where you can relax and reflect on the day's wildlife experiences
DAY 7: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After an early breakfast, embark on a full day of game driving through Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the most iconic and biodiverse wildlife destinations in Kenya. Spend the entire day exploring the vast savannahs, acacia woodlands, and riverine forests of the Mara, with opportunities to encounter a wide variety of wildlife and big five such as lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino are commonly found in this area, along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests, and you will have an opportunity to see a great migration which occurred on July - October most wildebeest and zebra crossing mara river for searching water and grasses. After enjoy the exploration you will drive back to your accommodation for relation at lodge or camp.
DAY 8: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve, where you'll have one last opportunity to spot wildlife in this incredible location. The reserve is home to abundant wildlife, including the Big Five, cheetahs, and wildebeests, and offers a unique chance to experience its vast landscapes, in the afternoon you will drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel or directly to the airport for your flight.
