>> We’ll pick you from your hotel in arusha and drive for about an hour to the Marangu Gate, the entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park. Once there, you’ll begin your hike through the lush tropical rainforest, surrounded by vibrant vegetation. Keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and a variety of bird species. Our experienced English-speaking guide will share insights about the mountain, as well as the different plant and animal species you’ll encounter along the way. You'll also have the chance to meet climbers coming down from their summit journey, and perhaps hear about their adventures—who knows, it might inspire your own climb in the future!

After 3 to 4 hours of hiking, you’ll arrive at Mandara Hut (2,700m), where you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy lunch. Your guide will then take you on a brief 15-minute hike to Maundi Crater, offering you stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Finally, you’ll descend back to the gate and return to your hotel.
