This tour is ideal for beginners eager to experience the majesty of Mount Kilimanjaro. Although reaching the summit in one day isn't feasible, our trip allows you to hike the initial stretch of the famous Marangu Route up to Mandara Hut. >> We'll pick you up in Arusha and drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park entrance, a 1-hour journey to Marangu Gate. As you hike through the tropical rainforest, keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species. Our expert guide from Marhaba Escape Safaris will provide insights into Kilimanjaro's unique ecosystem. You'll also have a chance to chat with climbers returning from the summit, fueling your own dreams of conquering the peak.

After a 3 to 4-hour trek, you'll reach Mandara Hut (2,700m) for a well-deserved break and lunch. A short 15-minute hike to Maundi Crater follows, offering stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After enjoying the scenery, you'll descend back to the gate and be driven to your hotel, concluding an unforgettable experience with Marhaba Escape Safaris.
