ABOUT 1-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Treks

We arrange short trekking for those who want to get a taste of Kilimanjaro and get on the mountain but don’t have the time to attempt the summit, we offer a day trip to Mandara Hut, which is the first camp on the Marangu Route. This is a beautiful trek through the lush jungle. The trek to the hut takes 3 to 4 hours and covers 8 km with an 800m elevation. Have lunch at the hut and enjoy the beautiful scenery before returning to the gate and then driving back to Moshi or Arusha.

>> Leave the hotel at 8 am and drive to Marangu Gate on the eastern side of Kilimanjaro. Fill out the necessary registration paperwork at the park gate.

Start the approx. 3-4 hour walk towards Mandara Hut (2700m). Stop on the way for lunch.
Later in the day you will descend back to Marangu gate and be driven back to your hotel.
