1-Day Trip to Mikumi National Park by Express Train - Tanzania safari Latest itinerary

>> We will pick you up at 4:00am from your accommodation in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the train station. Your train will depart at 6:00am and arrive in Morogoro at 7:45am. Upon arrival, our safari guide will meet you before driving you to Mikumi National Park, arriving at 10:00am. After completing the necessary formalities, you will embark on a game drive.

Mikumi National Park is known for its impressive African wildlife and is ideal for a brief visit. To the south, the park shares a boundary with the Selous Game Reserve, forming an extensive protected wilderness area.

Lunch will be at the park bandas at 2:00pm. After lunch, you will continue the game drive in the Kisungura Circuit around the hippo pools. Many animals come down to drink at water holes, and the highlight of your visit will be seeing the hippos!

At 4:00pm, you will transfer to Morogoro to catch the train at 7:25pm, arriving in Dar es Salaam at 9:05pm. We will transfer you to your hotel upon arrival.
