Day 01: Arrival in Nairobi & Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

>> As soon as you arrive from your flight, you will be greeted by a courteous professional driver-guide who will brief you about your safari and transfer you to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Upon arriving in the Masai Mara, you will be met by a representative and brought to Saruni Wild, where you will spend the next four nights.

We collaborate with several comfortable lodges and safari camps in the Masai Mara and surrounding conservancies for your needs, style, and budget.

Day 02: Masai Mara National Reserve Safari

>> Over the next three days, you will have amazing morning and afternoon wildlife drives on the Masai Mara grasslands. This historic reserve provides excellent wildlife-watching possibilities, with a high likelihood of seeing zebras, impalas, gazelles, wildebeest, buffalos, rhinos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Saruni Wild also offers night game drives where you can encounter nocturnal wildlife.

In addition to game drives, there are a variety of additional activities available during your stay in the Masai Mara, such as cultural trips to Maasai villages and markets. An early morning hot air balloon flight above the Masai Mara's grasslands and woods, complete with a bush meal, is available for an additional fee.

Day 03: Fly to Zanzibar & Transfer to Stone Town

>> Get ready for an exhilarating day on the island of Zanzibar! After a morning game drive, you'll be transferred by car to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your flight to Zanzibar Island.

You will be escorted to your two-night stay at a five-star establishment in Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site after you arrive in Zanzibar. Situated in the heart of the historic "Old Town," your five-star hotel offers breathtaking views of the sultan's palaces, Portuguese forts, historic dhow harbors, and vibrant bazaars.

Day 04: Explore Stone Town

>> Stone Town is a maze of narrow alleys that you may explore all day long. Look for old stone houses, doors with carvings, arches inspired by Arabia, windows with latticework, and balconies that hang low.

Cultural landmarks worth exploring include the Sultan's Palace, the Old Slave Market, the Portuguese Fort, the House of Wonders, the Livingstone House, the Persian Baths of Kidichi, the Hamamni Baths, and the House of Wonders.

Day 05: Transfer to Zanzibar Beaches

>> Leaving your Stone Town hotel after breakfast, you will be transported to your six-night stay at a beach resort.

Located on the east coast of Zanzibar, which is home to some of the island's finest beaches, Pongwe is a favorite choice for visitors. Indulge in a bed and breakfast experience right on the seashore.

Day 06: Zanzibar Beaches

>> Take your time exploring Zanzibar. During your stay, you have the option to join a variety of excursions, such as those to Jozani Forest, Prison Island, the spice farms, and local towns for cultural immersion.

You may also go windsurfing, kite surfing, sea kayaking, sailing, bird viewing, mountain biking, and hiking, among many other adventurous sports. The island's coral reefs are ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some green turtles or dolphins.
