You will go on a 13-day safari that includes gorilla trekking in Uganda, wildlife safaris in Kenya and Tanzania, and beach time in Zanzibar. This trip combines animals, culture, and relaxation. Your journey starts in Bwindi, Uganda, where you will have a special chance to see mountain gorillas. After that, you will travel to Masai Mara and then to Serengeti for exciting game drives to see many wild animals. Next, you will visit the Ngorongoro Crater. The trip ends on the beaches of Zanzibar.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
>> You will start your day with breakfast at your hotel in Kigali or be picked up early from the airport. Our friendly tour guide will meet you and drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
The name Bwindi brings to mind the wild side of Africa. Imagine high mountains covered with thick, wet forest, and you will get the idea. This national park covers 331 square kilometers and is one of the oldest forests in Africa. It even survived the Ice Age, while many other forests disappeared.
When you arrive, the staff at the lodge will welcome you warmly. You can relax and enjoy the wide view of the forest all around you.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
>> You will begin your day with a good breakfast to get ready for the activities ahead. Take your packed lunch and head to the park headquarters, which is very close by. There, you will get a short briefing, be placed into a gorilla group, and then start your walk into the forest.
The walk through Bwindi can take between 2 and 8 hours, depending on where the gorillas are on that day. Once you find them, you will spend up to 1 hour watching and taking photos of the gorillas. After the trek, you will enjoy your lunch and receive a certificate to show you completed the gorilla trekking experience and spend your afternoon at the lodge at leisure.

Day 3: Fly to Nairobi in Kenya
>> Depending on the time of your flight to Nairobi, we will drive you from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kigali International Airport, making sure you arrive 2 hours before check-in. When you reach Nairobi, we will pick you up and take you to your place of stay for dinner and a night of rest.

Day 4: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve and Evening Game Drive
>> After breakfast, you will be driven to Masai Mara National Reserve. When many people think of Africa, they imagine the Masai Mara. This large area of open grassland, with flat-topped acacia trees and big groups of zebras and wildebeests, shows the picture many travelers have in mind. What makes it special is that it really looks just like what people expect.
The Masai Mara includes the main reserve, many community conservancies, group ranches, and several Maasai villages. It is often the most memorable part of a trip to Kenya and, for many visitors, the main reason they come to the country.
In the evening, you will go on a game drive in the park. After that, you will return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive & Maasai Tribe Visit in Masai Mara
>> You will spend the whole day exploring the wildlife in the famous Masai Mara. This area is known for its large numbers of animals like leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and many other species found in Kenya.
Your day will include a long morning and evening game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will also visit a Maasai village to learn about their way of life.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Maasai Tribe Visit in Masai Mara
>> You will spend the whole day exploring the wildlife in the famous Masai Mara. This area is known for its large numbers of animals like leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and many other species found in Kenya.
Your day will include a long morning and evening game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will also visit a Maasai village to learn about their way of life.

Day 7: Transfer to Serengeti National Park and Evening Game Drive
>> After breakfast, you will travel to Tanzania by crossing the Isebania Border, then continue your drive to Serengeti National Park. For many travelers, the first view of the Serengeti is a moment they always remember. It might be the wide view from Naabi Hill at the park entrance, where the grasslands seem to go on forever. Or it could be the sight of lions walking through the plains, their manes moving with the wind.
Whatever you see first, you are now entering one of the best places in the world to watch wildlife. The Serengeti covers 14,763 square kilometers and is home to top predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. There are also many elephants in the area. The Serengeti is also a great place for bird lovers, with over 500 bird species to see.

Day 8: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
>> You will spend the whole day exploring the wide open spaces and rich wildlife of the famous Serengeti. This area is known for large groups of animals like leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and many other species found in Tanzania. Your day will include long morning and evening game drives in Serengeti National Park.

Day 9: Visit Ngorongoro Crater and Transfer to Karatu
>> You will start the day with breakfast and then travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There, you will arrive at the edge of the crater, which is one of the largest unbroken calderas in the world. This crater is not filled with water but is home to many animals.
You will see open grasslands, swamps, and forests on the crater floor where animals live, feed, and hunt. You may spot hippos, flamingos, elephants, hyenas, lions, and even the rare black rhino.
Water is very important here, with springs and streams helping to support both plants and animals. At 3 pm, your visit to the crater will end, and you will drive to Karatu for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Arusha Airport & Fly to Zanzibar Island
>> After breakfast, you will go to Arusha Airport and arrive at least 2 hours before your flight to the Zanzibar Archipelago. When you arrive in Zanzibar, you will be welcomed and taken to your accommodation. There, you will meet the staff, have dinner, and spend the night.

Day 11: Safari Blue Experience
>> After breakfast, our guide will pick you up and take you to Fumba Village for a full-day picnic on a blue safari. There, you can enjoy activities like snorkeling and sunbathing. If you are lucky, you might also see dolphins. After this fun day, you will return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 12: Zanzibar Stone Town Tour and Spice Tour
>> After breakfast, our guide will pick you up for a city tour of Stone Town. You will visit historic places like the Sultan’s Palace, the House of Wonders, and the Old Slave Market. After the tour, you will go to a local restaurant for lunch, where you can try real African food.
Alternatively, you can drive to a spice farm and have lunch in a local home. After lunch, you will take a Spice Tour to learn why Zanzibar is called the Spice Island. At the end of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 13: Leisure in Zanzibar Stone Town
>> After breakfast, you will have a free day to relax at the hotel and enjoy its facilities. If you like, you can choose extra activities like deep sea fishing, diving, snorkeling, visiting the Rock Restaurant, or taking a day trip to Mikumi, Selous, or Saadani National Park. These activities may cost extra, and we can help you arrange them. You can enjoy the day however you wish.

Day 14: Airport Transfer and Departure
>> After breakfast, you can relax at the beach hotel or go to Stone Town for some last-minute shopping. Later, we will arrange your transport to Zanzibar Airport. You will arrive at least 2 hours before your flight, which will mark the end of your trip.
