Day 01: Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Amboseli National Park
>> Depart early from Nairobi and drive approximately 4 hours to Amboseli National Park, famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. Afternoon game drive in Amboseli, where you can spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, and various bird species. The park is known for its diverse ecosystems including swamps and dry plains.

Day 02: Full day in Amboseli National Park
>> Enjoy a full day of exploration in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park. Look out for the unique wildlife adaptations that allow animals to thrive in this environment. Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps will be a highlight of any safari.

Day 03: Transfer from Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
>> Depart from Amboseli after breakfast and head towards Lake Naivasha, which takes about 5 hours by road. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you can see hippos and numerous bird species. You may also visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for walking safaris among wildlife.
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake and is very popular for birdwatching, with notable birds like the Kingfisher. The kingfisher uses the papyrus as a perch, while the Herons hide in it while hunting and searching for food.

Day 04: Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
>> After breakfast at your lodge, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve (approximately 5 hours’ drive). Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is renowned for its population of big cats as well as the Great Migration, if visiting during July through October.
The Masai Mara remains one of the last places on Earth where wildlife thrives relatively undisturbed, in numbers reminiscent of Africa's past. Located at the northern edge of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is home to the awe-inspiring seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their accompanying predators.

Day 05: Full day in Masai Mara
>> Spend an entire day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and evening game drives, where witnessing wildlife interactions like predator-prey dynamics is a common experience. You might also have the chance to visit a Maasai village and learn about their fascinating culture.
The Maasai Mara National Reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and incredible wildlife diversity, often allowing visitors to spot the Big Five in just one morning. Many cheetahs in the reserve are so accustomed to vehicles that they seek shade beneath them, and some even climb onto roofs for a better view of their prey. For bird enthusiasts, the reserve is home to nearly 500 species, including 16 types of eagles, various hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, and the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird.

Day 07: Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park and Boat Cruise on the Nile River
>> Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then head out for a game drive to explore the wildlife. You’ll have the opportunity to spot various species such as giraffes, lions, elephants, buffalo, birds, and more. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for an exciting boat cruise on the Nile River. The cruise will bring you close to water animals, including over 4,000 hippos and Nile crocodiles. The Nile is also home to breathtaking birdlife, such as bee-eaters, colorful kingfishers, shoebill storks, grey-throated birds, and yellow-billed birds.

Day 08: Transfer to Kibale National Park for Chimpanzee Tracking
>> Start your journey early from Murchison Falls National Park after breakfast. Travel through the Lake Albert escarpments, offering stunning views of the lake. Stop in Hoima for lunch at any hotel before continuing past Lake Nkusi and joining Lake Kyoga. Along the way, pass through traditional villages and enjoy watching locals engage in agriculture. Capture photos of the rolling hills adorned with traditional cash crops. Experience Fort Portal at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, surrounded by lush tea plantations. After this picturesque green tea scenery, proceed to Kibale National Park, one of Africa's remarkable rainforests. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and visit the scenic crater lakes region and the terraced tea plantations around the Fort Portal hills.

Day 09: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest & Bigodi wetland visit
>> Wake up early and head to Kanyanchu by 8:00 am to begin your chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest. Chimpes are believed to be the closest relatives of humans, sharing 98% of their DNA with us. As you search for these fascinating chimps, you’ll also encounter many other primate and animal species, including L’Hoest’s monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, pottos, bush babies, and various bird species like the little greenbul, yellow-spotted nicators, rumped tinkerbirds, crowned eagles, green-breasted pittas, and black bee-eaters, as well as larger mammals like elephants.

Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
>> Start your day with breakfast before enjoying a morning walk along the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, where you'll catch a glimpse of the majestic peaks of the "Mountains of the Moon." After the walk, proceed with your transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located just a three-hour drive from Kibale National Park. This renowned park is famous for its diverse wildlife and primates. It is bordered by Lake Edward to the southwest and Lake George to the northeast. Named after Queen Elizabeth II, the park is home to a variety of animals, including impalas, kobs, forest hogs, elephants, buffalo, tree-climbing lions, and cape buffalo. The park also features numerous volcanic calderas that attract flamingos during various seasons.

Day 11: Game Drive in Kasenyi and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
>> Wake up early, and after breakfast, head out for a morning game drive to spot animals such as elephants, elands, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, and more. Return to the lodge later to relax and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you'll encounter animals like crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, buffaloes, and various birds, including storks and kingfishers.

Day 12: Transfer to Bwindi National Park through Ishasha Sector
>> After breakfast, head to Bwindi Forest, home to the majestic mountain gorillas and spanning an area of 331 square kilometers. Journey through the Ishasha sector, where you can marvel at tree-climbing lions and take in the stunning landscapes along the way. Upon arrival at the park, enjoy a guided nature walk, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your preferred lodge.

Day 13: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
>> Today promises an incredible experience as you meet the majestic Mountain gorillas in Bwindi Forest! After a delicious breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge for a briefing before heading into the misty forest. Along the way, you'll encounter not only the gentle giants but also other wildlife such as buffalo, elephants, monkeys, butterflies, and a variety of bird species. You'll have one hour to spend with the gorillas, and trekking can take anywhere from one to eight hours, depending on their location. In the evening, you might enjoy a guided nature walk or a visit to the local community.
After the trek, you will transfer to Musanze in Rwanda for the golden monkey tracking experience. You will cross through the Cyanika Border post.

Day 14: Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Kigali
>> We’ll kick off the day with an exciting golden monkey trekking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. After enjoying their lively antics, we’ll leave the park and make our way back to Kigali..
