Explore the famous national parks in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania from the open roof of your safari vehicle during this 14-day classic roundtrip safari, accompanied by one of our experienced driver guides. Day 01: Let the Safari Adventure Begin
>> Welcome to Tanzania! Today marks the beginning of your exciting safari adventure. Upon your arrival at the airport or in Arusha, our driver will pick you up and take you on a safari adventure in Arusha National Park, the home of Mount Meru, spectacular landscapes and the world's largest population of giraffes.

Day 02: The Grey Greats of Tarangire National Park
>> Today, after breakfast, your driver guide will be ready to take you to the next destination: Tarangire National Park. This national park is famous for its large population of elephants and its many baobab trees (Grey Greats). Here, you will find the second-highest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania, Serengeti being number one.

Day 03: Spot the Lounging Lions at Lake Manyara National Park
>> Today, you will explore Lake Manyara National Park from south to north. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for being home to unique tree-climbing lions, which, if you are lucky, you will have the chance to spot in the mahogany and acacia trees during your full-day game drive. This national park has a high density of birdlife, more than 400 species.

Day 04: Time to Relax at Lake Manyara National Park
>> Today is a day of relaxation! Take a rest and savour all the safari adventures from the previous days. There are many optional activities which can be booked in the area of Lake Manyara, such as mountain bike tours through the rice fields and banana farms in Mto wa Mbu, a zipline adventure, a guided bird-watching tour, and many more. Or you can simply relax at the pool and book a well-deserved spa treatment for yourself.

Day 05: Admire the Impressive Landscape around Lake Natron
>> After having your breakfast at Africa Safari Lake Manyara, it is time to continue your safari adventure! Today, you will enjoy a road trip to Lake Natron. The drive will take up to 4 hours and will take you along the ever-changing landscapes of Tanzania. From the lush green vegetation around the Great Rift Valley, the environment will slowly change into dry, arid and dusty landscapes. The closer you get to Lake Natron, the more you will see remains of old volcanoes rise around you, it seems almost unearth-like! You will drive by one of the few active volcanoes—Ol Doinyo Lengai, which means "The Mountain of God" in the Masai language.

Day 06: Visit to Ngare Sero Waterfalls
>> Today, you will explore the surroundings of Lake Natron by joining a Masai guided walk to or a walk to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls. This hike will take either 30 minutes or up to 2 hours, depending on whether you want to take the adventurous route through the river or the newly paved pathway along the side. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring your swimsuit as you will get the chance to take a refreshing dip once you arrive at the waterfall!

Day 07: Flamingos and a visit to Masaai Boma
>> This morning, our Masai guide will take you on a walk around the shores of Lake Natron in search of the lesser flamingo. Lake Natron is the most important and regular breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa, and during the breeding season, Lake Natron hosts up to 2.5 million flamingos. Around midday, you will depart from Lake Natron and enjoy a safari game drive to Ololosokwan, where you will spend the night at Africa Safari Maasai Boma. This accommodation is inspired by the traditional Masai bomas, which you will encounter along the way, and will give you a unique experience of their culture in a comfortable way.

Day 08: Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem
>> On this day, you will enjoy a game drive in the Pololeti Game Reserve, which is an essential area for wildebeest breeding and a corridor for the animals coming from the Serengeti National Park. Because wildlife knows no boundaries, you will find a wide variety of animals in the game reserve, such as lions, roaming elephants, grazing buffalo, running antelope and many more!

Day 09: The Endless Plains of Serengeti National Park
>> Once you have enjoyed your breakfast, the acacia-studded savannah welcomes you to explore its wildlife. Another day is filled with a safari adventure, and by the end of the day, you understand the meaning of the name "Serengeti" to be "endless plains". A safari game drive in the world-famous Serengeti National Park is an unforgettable experience!

Day 10: Into the Bush for Walking and Night Game Drive
>> Enjoy a leisurely morning around the campgrounds, read a book on the patio or simply make the most of having some downtime. This afternoon, you will be going on a walking safari. It is a unique experience where you will have the opportunity to explore new territory and follow the animals on foot, accompanied by an armed ranger. The walking safari takes approximately 2 hours and ends with a sundowner overlooking the Serengeti. Then, return to the accommodation for a quick dinner as you will join in on a thrilling adventure—a night game drive! A spotlight is fitted to the vehicle, and before you know it, you catch the first reflections of the animal’s eyes. The night is another world altogether, with interesting behaviour from the nocturnal animals, different shades and shadows, and unknown sounds. Typical animals of the night are bushbabies, civets, genet cats, and porcupines. Upon return, perhaps a nightcap to warm up before retiring to your room for a good rest.

Day 11: Spot the 6 Big Cat Species
>> On this day, you will enjoy a safari game drive through the Serengeti National Park en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area around Lake Ndutu. This area is famous for being home to a large number of big cats, including the lion, leopard, cheetah, civet, serval, wild cat, and caracal. During the calving season, the famous wildlife spectacle, the great annual migration of wildebeest and zebra, occurs. In short, it is an extraordinary place to visit! You will spend the night at Africa Safari South Serengeti.

Day 12: Cats and Calves around Lake Ndutu
>> Another day, another full-day game drive! After breakfast, you will get on the safari Jeep and head out for another safari game drive in the Ndutu area—more to see and more to capture! Afterwards, you will return to Africa Safari South Serengeti for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 13: Nothing but Nature at Magical Ngorongoro Crater
>> Your last safari game drive is to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Be sure to wake up early today so there is no delay on your descent to the crater. When arriving at the edge of the crater, you will take in the fantastic view over one of the natural wonders of the world. The crater of this inactive volcano is approximately 3 million years old, 20 square kilometres in size and the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world. Due to its natural borders, the wildlife in the crater is amazing. The crater is home to the Big Five and offers an excellent chance to spot the rare black rhino. Throw hyena, zebra, buffalo and elephants into the mix, and you have the perfect canvas for a pretty awesome safari experience.

Day 14: All Good Things End
>> After breakfast, you will start your return journey to Arusha. After meeting your driver guide at the reception, you will head off on an easy two-hour drive back to where it all started with a heart and camera filled with memories of your African safari adventure.
