As you will meet with our professional Guide at Melchior Airport when you reach on Burundi's land at this first day, he will pick-up you from there to Kirundo where you will have a reserved hotel and gives you the prebriefing of your birding tour in Burundi. On the second day, in Morning, we will go to do birdwatching at Rwihinda natural reserve (Lac aux oiseaux). Afternoon, we will go back to to Bujumbura to spend one night and prepare your flight.

Day 01: Pick up from the airport to hotel

>> On the first day, you will meet with our professional Guide at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport to pick up you from there to the reserved hotel then he will give you all information like prebriefing about our birdwatching tour. Due to the long journey you made you have a time to break and prepare the next day activity.

Day 02: Bird watching and farewell

>> On the second day, we will wake up early in the morning then we leave the hotel at 5:20' a.m. to drive to Lake Rwihinda(Lac aux oiseaux) to do birdwatching as our day activity. We will try to spot some species like Knob-billed Duck, Blue headed Coucal, Palm-nut Vulture and Lesser-striped Swallow. At 10 a.m we leave to go back to the hotel to take lunch and we leave there at 2 p.m. to drive 4 hours from Kirundo Province to spend a night in Bujumbura.
