Due to the long journey you made you have a time to break and prepare the next day activity.

Day 02: Birdwatching in Lac aux oiseaux

>> On the second day, we will wake up early in the morning then we leave the hotel at 5:20' a.m. to drive to Lake Rwihinda(Lac aux oiseaux) to do birdwatching as our day activity. We will try to spot some species like Knob-billed Duck, Blue headed Coucal, Palm-nut Vulture and Lesser-striped Swallow. At 10 a.m we leave to go back to the hotel to take lunch and we leave there at 2 p.m. to drive 4 hours from Kirundo Province to spend a night in Bujumbura.
