Day 01: Cape Town to Hoedspruit

>> Guests can fly to Hoedspruit's Eastgate Airport from Cape Town. We will also meet you at Eastgate for transportation to and from Kapama Private Game Reserve.

We arrange your transfer from Hoedspruit's Eastgate Airport to Kapama Private Game Reserve in time for you to freshen up and eat before embarking on an afternoon game drive accompanied by your ranger and tracker into the reserve.

During the drive, you will stop for a sundowner and stretch your legs while watching the sunset over the distant Drakensberg mountains.

As nightfall approaches, the nocturnal animals of the bush emerge. During the trip back to the camp, you might observe various species. The adept tracker will sweep the landscape with a flashlight, highlighting the animals' eyes.

Arrival at the camp is often around 7:00pm, leaving ample time to freshen up before enjoying a delectable meal.
