Day 01: Mount Kilimanjaro

>> Your trek begins at the Marangu Gate, where you will register and meet your guide. You will then begin your trek through tropical rainforests, which is home to unique flora and fauna.

The trek is relatively easy, with gradual ascents as you pass through dense rainforests. The path is shaded by tall trees, and you will hear the sounds of birds and wildlife.

After around 4-5 hours of hiking, you will reach Mandara Hut, which is located at 2,700 meters. It is a great spot for acclimatization and rest. You can explore the surroundings and enjoy panoramic views of the forest.

Day 02: Mount Kilimanjaro

>> The ascent offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding areas. You will see vistas of the Mawenzi Peak (the second peak of Kilimanjaro), as well as the expansive landscape below.

Horombo Hut is one of the most popular resting points on the Marangu Route. It is also an excellent spot to help with acclimatization before heading to higher altitudes. After the trek, you can enjoy dinner and relax in the hut before heading back.
