ABOUT 3-Day Chimpanzee Trekking in Burundi

Once you will get in Burundi via air transport, you will meet with our Guide at Airport to take you to your reserved hotel in Rumonge Province to stay one night. Next day, we will wake up early to leave the hotel at 5 a.m. So that we reach at Kigwena Natural Reserve to trek Chimpanzees. After that we will go back to Bujumbura before experiencing the Mugara hot spring. For the last day we will do Bujumbura city tour and pass at market to by some souvenirs and be transferred to the Airport.

Day 01: 3-Day Chimpanzee Trekking in Burundi

>> When you will be coming, our Guide will be waiting for you at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport to pick up you from there. Once you arrive, he will take you to your reserved hotel in Rumonge Province near Kigwena Natural Reserve location to stay one night.

Day 02: Chimpanzee trekking and hot spring experience

>> We will wake up early in morning to leave the hotel at 5 a.m. for heading to Kigwena Natural Reserve to start our Chimpanzee trekking early so that we maximize the chance to find these nice primates. After chimp trekking we will go back to Bujumbura but we will pass at Magara hot spring to experience this naturally hot water, then we continue to Bujumbura to stay another one night.
