ABOUT 3-Day Gorilla Tracking Uganda

This gorilla tracking safari starts from Kampala or Entebbe and ends in the same places. Gorilla tracking is done on day 2, and it may take up the whole day. It starts at 8:30 am after the briefing on how to behave or go about the gorillas when came across in the wild. If the tracking ends by 2 pm, you may drive off to Lake Bunyonyi with great views of the rolling hills of Kabale.

Day 01: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

>> You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala and start your gorilla tracking safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This will be followed by a brief stopover at the Uganda Equator for some photos and then proceed to Mbarara town for our lunch at Agip motel.

After lunch, you'll drive further west to Bwindi Forest National Park, arriving later in the evening and preparing for your tracking the next day.

Day 02: Gorilla Tracking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

>> Gorilla tracking is done on day 2, and it may take up the whole day. It starts at 7:00 am with the briefing on how to behave around gorillas when came across in the wild. If the tracking ends by 2:00 pm, you'll drive off to Lake Bunyonyi with great views of the rolling hills of Kabale.

Day 03: Canoeing and Return to Kampala Entebbe Airport

>> You'll have an early breakfast, continue down to the lake, and have a canoe ride on the lake. You'll get back to your rooms, refresh, and start your return journey to Kampala.
