Day 1: Flight into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

>> After your breakfast, you will be picked up by a Bushman Safaris representative and transferred to Entebbe to board your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed at Kihihi Airstrip and transferred to your accommodation. If you prefer to be busy for this evening, the guide can request the lodge to do an extra activity for you for today at a fee.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Pygmies

>> After briefing, you'll venture into Bwindi forest on foot and enter a world suspended outside of time! The undergrowth thrives with diverse plants, mammals, and birds. It's a grueling task to press on through walls of vines and vegetation as your hearts pump from effort and anticipation. It may be minutes or hours before you come upon a gorilla family but when you finally do, the encounter sweeps you into a timeless moment. You'll watch the juveniles play as the impressive adults groom and keep a sly but watchful eye on their human visitors and in this moment a feeling of kinship rises to close the gap that grew between you and your primate relatives over millennia. You'll descend elated and arrested in a timeless moment to be told and retold for years to come. Your adventure does not end here, you will return to the forest to indulge yourself in a cultural encounter with the pygmies.

Day 3: Flight into Entebbe Airport

>> After breakfast, you will set off to the airstrip once again to catch your flight into Entebbe. You can connect from this flight to your international flight back home.
