ABOUT 3-Day Murchison Falls and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Safari-Uganda

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be picked by a Vibrant Holiday Safari guide who will welcome you to the Pearl of Africa. You will travel to Murchison Falls National Game Park where you will have the chance to view the big 5, trip to the bottom of the falls plus a hike to the top of the falls after which you will head to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an on-foot Rhino tracking experience.

Day 01: Arrive in Uganda and transfer to Murchison via Zziwa

>> Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our safari guide who will welcome you to the Pearl Of Africa and brief you about your safari. After the briefing, you will hit the road for a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an onfoot rhino tracking experience. The experience starts with a briefing from the park ranger, during the briefing, you will be briefed about the dos and donts of the activity, after which you will start the tracking experience. The experience takes upto 2 hours, the sights of these giant creatures is incredible. After, you will proceed with your journey to Murchison Falls, the highlights of this park include the roaring rapids of the most powerful falls in the world and rolling savanah plains, it is also the best destination for the big 5 sightings. Upon arrival, you will head right for a hike to the top of the falls. The sights and sounds of these falls is extremely breathtaking, witness the Nile squeeze itself through a small gorge.

Day 02: Early morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

>> After an early breakfast, you will embark on an early morning game drive. You will have the chance to view lions, leopards, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalos, elephants and so much more. A game drive in Murchison will leave you fascinated. You will head back to your lodge for lunch, relax before you head out for the afternoon boat experience to the base of the falls. You will also be fascinated by the concentration of hippos and crocodiles here. For birders, Murchison boasts over 450 bird species including the dwarf kingfisher, giant kingfisher and so much more. After, you will head back to your lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Exit Murchison Falls to Entebbe International Airport

>> Have a relaxed breakfast at the lodge and embark on your journey back to Kampala, marking the end of your 3 days Murchison Falls safari. Expect some stop overs for lunch and pictures then later proceed with the journey arriving late afternoon.
