Day 01: Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

>> You'll be picked up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam. Drive to Selous Game Reserve, a 6-hour drive. Enjoy landscapes and features of the country while you are driving. Arrive at lodge for a hot lunch then enjoy a boat drive where you will be able to see crocodiles and hippos. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Selous Safari Lodge.

Time: 8-10 hours

Accommodation: Selous Safari Lodge > Mid-range lodge located just outside Nyerere NP

Day 02: Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

>> After breakfast from the camp with packed lunches, enjoy game drives inside the park. Expect to see a large number of animals like lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, hyena, etc. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. During the afternoon, you will take your lunch and have some rest before proceeding with the game drive. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
