Day 01: Pick up in Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

>> Your tour guide with a 4X4 safari vehicle meets and greets you at your hotel in Kigali. You will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum to pay your last respects to victims of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against Tutsi before leaving the lively capital. You will drive north-west through lush hills and bustling market towns for approximately 2.5 hours, to the stunning Volcanoes National Park—well known as the venue for Dian Fossey's pioneering studies of the mountain gorillas. Overnight stay will be in Musanze area.

Day 02: Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park and drive to Bwindi National Park

>> An early morning breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Kinigi Park headquarters for golden monkey tracking briefing. Then, you will hike up into the rainforest to a troop of golden monkeys.
Once you find gorillas, you’re allowed to stay with them for one hour. After the day experience, you will transfer to Bwindi National Park. Your overnight stay will be at the booked lodge.

Day 03: Gorilla Trekking Tour in Bwindi NP and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi

>> After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the ranger station for Uganda Gorilla Trekking Briefing on dos and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas, afterwards you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide & hike into the forest in search of gorillas.
Once you find them you usually have an hour with them, time to sit and observe them at very close quarters of 10 meters & after trekking transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 04: Lake Bunyonyi to Kigali
