Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

>> After breakfast from your hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up and driven to Lake Nakuru National Park. This drive will take you through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, with a brief stop for photography at the Rift Valley observation point. The Rift Valley is one of the most dramatic sections that slice through East Africa, dividing Kenya into two segments. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, drive by the lake amidst the spectacular euphorbia forest.

This national park is renowned for its large population of flamingoes, which number in the thousands. Other animals found here include rhino, Rothschild's giraffe, lion, and cheetah.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

>> This morning, we drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains, famous for its spectacular wildebeest migration. It is home to the Big Five - lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Enjoy lunch at the camp and relax before departing for an afternoon game drive. Large mammals are varied and easy to see.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve

The Mara serves up unparalleled game-viewing opportunities, and it is here, more than anywhere else in the world, where you are most likely to tick off the Big Five.
