5-Day Tented Safari with Panorama Route Tour Latest itinerary

>> Your shared shuttle departs from O.R. Tambo International Airport at 7:45 am. You will make your way to the Northern Drakensberg Mountains where you will meet your safari and nature guide. He will take you on a private tour through the mountains which includes stops and short walks at some of the scenic beauties of this mountain range. This visit includes sights such as God's Window, Lisbon Falls, the Three Rondavels at Blyde Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes.

In the late afternoon we'll take you to your comfortable bush lodge near Hoedspruit, where you'll enjoy a delicious meal prepared by your host before retiring for the night.

>> After an early departure from your lodge, our safari takes us to one of the Kruger National Park rest camps which is a resort-style village with a shop, a restaurant and a communal pool. Your 6 x 3m-size tent features hotel-grade beds, a private veranda and a private bathroom with a toilet. Our staff will take care of all the camp chores.

You'll enjoy a welcome drink and may retire to your spacious tent. You can head out for a game drive in the early afternoon after a light lunch served at the camp. After your afternoon game drive, you will return to the camp to be greeted by a delicious dinner prepared by your chef. Enjoy the hours of nightfall in the company of your professional nature guide and host, who can share marvelous stories of the African bush with you.

>> You awake at sunrise to get ready for your morning safari. You will be on one of the first vehicles leaving the camp as gates open in the morning, with the privilege of exploring the gravel and tar roads before anyone else. Later, our chef will prepare a hot breakfast for you. We then continue our drive until the sun is high and it's time for a lunch break. Take a siesta in your tent or a dip in the pool back at camp.

In the afternoon, we will continue with our safari and spend some time on the roads surrounding the camp in search of more animals. Upon return to the camp, enjoy some sundowner drinks and relax while your chef prepares dinner.

>> Another day in the Kruger awaits. Take in the animal sightings from an open safari vehicle and explore the area north or south of the park, as per conditions of the day and our guide's expert opinion of where animal sightings are most likely. Later, enjoy an iced coffee at the camp restaurant while you sort through your photos and make use of the free Wi-Fi (if needed). Otherwise just stay disconnected for a while to enjoy your time in nature to the fullest.

>> Today, it's time to say goodbye to the Kruger National Park. After breakfast at the camp, you check out and enjoy your last morning safari before returning to the shuttle departure location for your return to the airport in Johannesburg. You will arrive at the O.R. Tambo International Airport at around 18h00 where your safari ends.
