>> Today our safari guide will take you to the Xaxanaxa area in Moremi Game Reserve. Xaxanaxa is famous for its big lagoons and notoriously big game. It is situated in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, an excellent wildlife viewing area with lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo as permanent residents. The game drives in this area of Moremi take you down winding tracks, through mopane forests, and across lush grasslands.

>> After breakfast, you'll move your camp to Khwai. This area is a diverse beauty it covers riverine woodland, open floodplains, mopane woodland, and savannah. This diverse landscape attracts a huge variety of wildlife such as buffalos, wild dogs, elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, kudus, and lechwe sable just to name but a few.
The Khwai River is a big draw for game in the dry season as the only water source for miles around. Wildlife is drawn to the water from the drier areas, and even in the green season this area usually produces excellent wildlife sightings.
