1-Day Trip at Marangu Village Experience, Falls and Chagga Caves Latest itinerary

Your execution will begin with Kilimanjaro National Park, Marangu gate. Marangu Gate (1720m) is a starting point of Kilimanjaro climb adventures and one of popular routes to the top of Kilimanjaro. Your guide will give a brief history of Marangu route and why is famous for Kilimanjaro trekking, at the gate you see will the ascending climbers making preparations. Afterwards, we will take a short hike to a nearby valley with a small waterfall, well known as "evergreen valley" by locals. After the hike we drive to the other side of the village to learn more about the history of the Chagga community and visit the caves dug by the Chagga during the wars with the Maasai some 200 years ago. Coffee tour, go to the farm, see how coffee is cultivated, harvest and processed to a cup of coffee in a local way and finally drink your cup of coffee. After hot lunch at one of the local restaurant, the hike to Kilasiya Waterfall will start. In Late afternoon we drive back to Moshi with good memories.
