Day 01: Arrive in Livingstone, Zambia
>> On arrival into Livingstone, you’ll be met and transferred to Waterberry Lodge, set on a tranquil bend of the Zambezi River. Once settled into your river-facing accommodation, enjoy lunch and some time to relax after your journey, perhaps with a wander through the gardens or a drink overlooking the water.

Day 02: Victoria Falls and the Zambezi
>> Today is yours to explore Livingstone at your own pace. Visit Victoria Falls, one of the world’s great natural wonders, or opt for a gentler river-based experience such as a canoe trip or sunset cruise on the Zambezi. Game drives into Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park offer the chance to spot white rhino, while those seeking more adrenaline can try rafting, bungee jumping or microlighting.

Day 03: At leisure in Livingstone
>> A second full day allows you to revisit favourite activities or slow things down completely. Spend time at the lodge enjoying the scenery, take a fishing trip, or return to the Falls for a different perspective. Livingstone works beautifully as a flexible start to the trip, easing you into Africa at your own rhythm.

Day 04: Livingstone to South Luangwa
>> After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight to Mfuwe, gateway to South Luangwa National Park. On arrival, your guide will collect you for a drive through local villages to Luangwa River Camp. The camp sits overlooking a game-rich stretch of the Luangwa River and combines comfort with an intimate bush atmosphere.
Depending on arrival time, you’ll enjoy lunch, a rest, and then an afternoon game drive with the option of returning after sundowners or continuing into the evening to look for nocturnal wildlife.

Day 05: Safari activities in South Luangwa
>> Explore the park on game drives or guided walks, led by experienced local guides. Day 07: South Luangwa to Lake Malawi
>> After an early breakfast, you’ll transfer to Mfuwe Airport for your flight to Lilongwe. On arrival, a scenic road transfer brings you to Pumulani, tucked into the forested hills of the Nankumba Peninsula on Lake Malawi. The calm, clear lake and relaxed pace immediately signal a shift into beach mode.

Day 08: Relaxation on the Lake of Stars
>> Your first full day at Pumulani is perfect for unwinding. Spend time on the beach, swim in the lake, or relax by one of the infinity pools overlooking the water.
