ABOUT 2-Day Chobe National Park Camping Tour

This trip starts at Victoria Falls Lodges or Hotels. It's a one-night, two-day camping safari. The river cruise is considered as one of the highlights of the trip, as one gets the opportunity to get closer and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and of course, scores of elephants and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst.

Day 01: Transfer to Chobe National Park

>> You are picked up from lodges and hotels in Victoria Falls or Livingstone Zambia at 7:30 am. Guests are met at Kazungula by their guides and are escorted through immigration formalities. A short briefing will follow on some pertinent facts such as safety, and some regional information. At 9:00 am, guests board the boat and commence a 3-hour boat cruise into the Chobe National Park. The river cruise is considered one of the highlights of the trip, as one gets the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and of course, scores of elephants and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. The boat cruise ends at the Coffee Buzz at 12:45 pm. After a satisfying meal, you will have an afternoon Game drive which last for 3hours from 15:00hours to 18:00 hours. After your exciting Chobe game drive, you will be transferred to your dorm tents.

Day 02: Chobe National Park

>> After a quick cup of tea or coffee and a light continental-style breakfast, you head off on an early morning game drive which starts at 0545hrs. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or wild dogs as they are still active at this time and the chances of seeing them are very high. At 1245hrs you will be transferred to Cresta Mowana where you will have an afternoon Buffet Lunch. At round 1330hrs you will embark on your Boat Cruise until 1600hrs. After cruise you will be transferred back to your respective hotels or lodges.
