Day 01: Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha then Drive to Tarangire National Park

>> Transfer Arusha – Tarangire: 2 hours

You'll take a local flight from Zanzibar Airport and fly directly to Arusha Airport. Upon landing at Arusha, you'll meet our Safari Guide from our office will pick you up from the airport and drive to Tarangire National Park for the game drive for wildlife sighting while carrying lunch boxes. After your game drive, you will be transferred to your accommodation located in Karatu village, where you'll stop for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

The park is named after the Tarangire River, which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. Lunch will be at a picnic site inside the park.

Day 02: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha/Moshi

>> You'll have breakfast at Surcate Boma Lodge. Ngorongoro Crater is one of those places that has to be seen words alone cannot do it justice. After leaving your lodge, you’ll drive down into what was once, many years ago, the fiery heart of a huge volcano. Today this natural wonder has a much more peaceful atmosphere as wildebeests, Coke’s hartebeests, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, and common zebra feed contentedly as the ever-present lions and cheetah will allow. The black rhinos here are the only ones less concerned about these predators. The bird life in the crater varies according to the seasons but during your visit, you should see grey-crowned cranes, lappet-faced vultures, black-bellied and kori bustards, Fischer’s lovebird, and northern anteater chat among many others. Your lunch will be served at the designated picnic site in the crater. Later on, you will drive back to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
