ABOUT 2-Day Flying Zanzibar to Nyerere NP, Night Game Drive

Are you planning to do a safari from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve), and you're very interested in doing a night game drive at the park? Here we have a 2-day safari including a night game drive. Night game drive takes about 4 hours from 6 PM to 11 PM. There are a lot of animals walking and active at night. Day 01: Flying Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park Doing Game Drives

>> Our professional driver will pick you up from the hotel to Zanzibar International Airport to fly to Nyerere National Park and land at Mtemere Airstrip inside the park. After arriving at Selous Game Reserve, you will do a full day game drive. In the afternoon, you will get a packed lunch and time to rest. Then, you'll continue with the game until 4 PM, where you will get back to the camp for night game drive preparation.

Night game drive takes place from 6 PM to 11 PM. There are a lot of animals that are active at night. There is a high chance of seeing many cat species, especially lions, leopards, and others. You will have dinner in the bush at night. After the game drive, you will be back at camp for the night.

Day 02: Boat Safari and Flying Back to Zanzibar

>> After having breakfast, you will do a boat tour on the biggest river in Tanzania, called the Rufiji River.
This safari will take two hours from 10 AM. After the boat safari, you will be picked up by our professional driver to the camp for lunch. Then, you'll go for a village tour at Mloka village. Around 3 PM, you will be taken to Mtemere Airstrip at Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) for flying back to Zanzibar at 4 PM. On arrival, in Zanzibar, our driver will wait there for a drop off at your hotel.
