Visit the Forty Springs
Head to the area known as "Arba Minch" (meaning Forty Springs in Amharic)

Walk through lush forested trails in Nech Sar National Park’s buffer zone, guided by a local ranger

Learn about the springs' significance in local culture and ecology, and how they support the local communities

Afternoon: Lake Chamo Boat Safari – “Crocodile Market”
After lunch at your lodge, head to Lake Chamo for an unforgettable wildlife boat tour

Board a motorboat with a trained guide for a 1.5–2-hour safari on the lake

Visit the famous “Crocodile Market”, where massive Nile crocodiles (some over 6 meters long) sunbathe on the banks.

Arrive at Dorze, home to one of Ethiopia’s most fascinating ethnic communities

Morning to Midday: Dorze Cultural Experience
Tour a traditional Dorze household and admire their famous beehive-shaped huts made from bamboo and false banana leaves – some up to 12 meters high!

Watch demonstrations of traditional weaving, for which the Dorze people are renowned. You may buy high-quality cotton scarves and fabrics as souvenirs

Enjoy the crisp mountain air and expansive views over the southern Rift Valley.
