Perched regally amidst the bush willows on the tip of a magnificent gorge overlooking the Sterkstroom River, Clifftop Exclusive Safari Hideaway is your idyllic sanctuary in the African Bush. A romantic, secluded hideaway from the world’s worries that caters to an intimate encounter with the magnificent UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere inside Welgevonden Private Game Reserve. Welgevonden has more than 65 mammal species, including the “Big Five”, cheetah, brown hyena and over 300 different bird species.

13:30 pm – Arrival at Clifftop Exclusive Safari Hideaway.
You'll arrive slightly early to enjoy your lunch.

14:00 pm – 14:30pm - Check-In to Your Room
You'll settle into your luxury suite and freshen up for the afternoon game drive.

Afternoon Game Drive:
Winter: Game drives depart at 15:30pm. Summer: Game drives depart at 16:00pm.
You'll depart on your first open-vehicle safari led by experienced rangers. You'll spot elephants, rhinos, lions, and more.

19:30 pm– Dinner at the Lodge
You'll indulge in a gourmet dinner in the restaurant.

21:00 pm onwards – Evening at Leisure
You'll enjoy a nightcap at the bar, relax by the fireplace, or do some quiet stargazing.

Day 02: Early morning game drive and breakfast

Early morning game drive:
Winter: Game drives depart at 6:30am. Summer: Game drives depart at 5:30am.
You'll depart on your open-vehicle safari led by experienced rangers. You'll possibly spot elephants, rhinos, lions, and more.

From 7:00am, breakfast will be served.
You'll enjoy a hearty breakfast before packing up.

8:30am – 9:30am – Return to your suite, you'll freshen up and prepare for check-out.

10:00am – Check-out and departure.

Rates include:
Accommodation, three meals, selected beverages (soft drinks, water, beer, selected wines & spirits), two safaris per night stay and VAT at 15%.
