Day 01: Welcome to Uganda-Arrival at Entebbe
>> Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by a Tapestry of Africa Tours and Safaris representative who will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your luxurious hotel. You'll take some time to settle in and unwind after your international flight, soaking in the calm lakeside atmosphere and the lush greenery that surrounds Uganda’s charming capital.
Depending on your arrival time, you may wish to take a stroll in the hotel gardens or enjoy a cocktail on the terrace. For early arrivals, optional excursions can be arranged, such as a guided walk through the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or a visit to the nearby Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Day 02: Into the Heart of the Jungle – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Gorilla Trekking Adventure
>> After an early breakfast, you'll transfer to the airport for a flight from Entebbe to an airstrip near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Upon arrival, your private guide will escort you to your luxury lodge nestled deep in the rainforest. After settling in with a freshly prepared lunch and short orientation, you’ll take a guided walk to visit the Batwa people, forest-dwelling hunter-gatherers who have lived in harmony with this ecosystem for generations. Enjoy their culture and songs!
The next morning brings the highlight of your Ugandan journey: gorilla trekking. After breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters for a safety briefing before trekking into the misty forest with expert rangers.
