Day 01: Departure from the hotel or airport to Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge

>> You will start your first day by being picked up from your hotel or the airport by a Mr. Shuttle driver-guide. Proceed on the drive to Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge. It is a lodge concession awarded by the North West Parks and Tourism Board within the existing Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The entire lodge lies in an exclusive-use zone in the southwestern portion of the 57,250ha “Big 5″ and malaria-free reserve.

Upon arrival at the lodge, your driver-guide will assist you with check-in. You can enquire about some of the activities offered such as walking safaris, spa treatments, and archery at the reception. You will meet up with your game ranger and go on an adventurous game drive. Game drives are about 2 to 3 hours in duration. After the game drive you will be taken back to your lodge where you will enjoy delectable cuisine in the gourmet restaurant or at the outdoor boma. After dinner, you will settle in for the night.

Day 02: Full Day at Shepherds Tree Game Lodge

>> This is your full day at the Lodge. Your day will start with a Morning Game drive. A lovely experience as more animals are seen out during the early hours of the morning. After your game drive, you will head back to the lodge where you will enjoy a refreshing breakfast. You will have a large portion of the day for leisure time. Later that afternoon you will enjoy your evening/night game drive. Dinner will be served back at the lodge again. You can then settle in and relax for the rest of the evening.

Day 03: Return to Johannesburg

After your game drive, you will head back to the lodge where you will enjoy a refreshing breakfast. You will then to your room to collect your belongings.
