5-Day Bale Mountain Trekking Tour

>> Morning: You'll depart early from Addis Ababa and drive south to Bale Mountains National Park (approximately 7–8 hours). You will enjoy scenic views of the Rift Valley along the route. You will have an opportunity for the wildlife viewing activities.
Afternoon: You'll arrive at Dinsho, the park headquarters, for an introduction to the park and a leisurely hike in the surrounding forest. Look out for Menelik’s Bushbuck and Mountain Nyala, two endemic mammals frequently spotted in this area.
Birdwatching highlights: Wattled Ibis, Spot-Breasted Lapwing, Rouget’s Rail, Blue-Winged Goose, and Abyssinian Long Claw.

Afternoon: You will continue trekking to Sodota. Keep an eye out for the Ethiopian Wolf, Africa’s rarest canid, and the surrounding avian life.
