Day 01: Transfer to Musanze and tour of Dian fossey Campus

>> Your adventure begins with a warm welcome in Kigali. After pick-up, enjoy a scenic drive north to Musanze, nestled at the foothills of the Virunga Mountains. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and freshen up. In the afternoon, visit the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Campus for an insightful experience into gorilla conservation and the legacy of Dian Fossey. Overnight in Musanze.

Day 02: Golden Monkey trek and a Transfer to Bwindi

After the trek, return to the lodge for check-out and begin your scenic cross-border journey into Uganda, arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the evening. Check in and relax at your lodge, ready for the next day’s gorilla trek.

Day 03: Trek Gorillas and a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

>> Today is the highlight of your journey—gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing, then venture into the forest for a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with a mountain gorilla family. After the trek, enjoy a parked lunch and begin your transfer to the serene Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive in time to unwind with a peaceful sundowner by the lake. Overnight at a lakeside lodge.

After lunch, head out for a relaxing boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a haven for hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. This waterway offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
